A Lover's Anguish
The beloved she once thought she knew,
Altered into a timeless stranger,
A stranger that crushed the wings of her realm,
The realms of her soul from deep within,
Deep within a heart full of emotion,
That circles in re-collection,
Of the memories that were made through a soul connection,
Unified in an infinite reaction,
A profound exhilaration to a manifestation,
Of embedded flames that seek life-long reaffirmation,
With two hearts full of reverberation.
As days go on and time sweeps through her life,
She wonders how a person she once knew,
Could vanish into the death of the night,
The known transcending to the unknown,
Haunting her to a molecule of time,
Dwelling in the form of sleepless nights,
She still has a heart full of love, with an aching soul,
In silent prayer and thoughtful memories,
A good life she longs for her beloved who was once known,
And in tearful sorrow, she longs for better tomorrows.
