Food For The Progressive Soul

I have been treading on a tremendous amount of soul searching for the past couple of days and it's spectacular as to how much we can store in our entire beings. In our souls, in our hearts and in our minds.

This life that was presented to us is meant to be beautiful but why oh, why, are most people stained with an unpleasantness that discolors their surroundings and dulls out the very essence of life?

Human beings either expect too much or too little from anything and everything. Nothing is ever enough and nothing can never be too much. The irony of human nature. It's like most of us are neither here nor there.

With solitude comes the understanding of one's true self. What their likes and dislikes are. Their hopes and dreams for the future. Their deepest darkest fearful secrets.

What I have learnt is that time spent alone gives you an inexplicable understanding of your inner being. Of who you truly are and what you aspire to be.

In a nutshell, a statement made in the book 'The Secret' reveals exactly what I aspire to be;

I ASPIRE TO BE A GIVER, A GIVER OF LOVE, A GIVER OF GOOD VIBES AND A GIVER OF STRENGTH.

'A Giver' because most people are takers; selfishly grabbing onto whatever they can out of a person or a circumstance. 'A Giver of Love' because there is too much hate in this world which only selfless love can heal. 'A Giver of Good Vibes' because there is too much of negativity that surrounds us in this competitive world. It's all about weeding out the negativity and harvesting positivity all around. 'A Giver of Strength' because we are responsible for each other. We need to reach out and strengthen each other. It is only with the strength that comes from within and from the transference of strength from another human being that we are able to get to our end-destination.

I want to inspire to aspire.

Because at the end of the day, this life we live is unpredictable. Our todays won't be a part of our tomorrows. So sip on a cup of coffee and think about how you can make it count.
